In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort.
This is how J.R.R. Tolkien begins his description of the home of Bilbo Baggins, the reluctant hero of 'The Hobbit'. And this lovely place is also Frodo's home, before and after he sets out on his quest in 'The Lord of the Rings'. In his movie trilogy, Peter Jackson made it come to life - and loved it so much that he supposedly put the man-sized set into storage after filming. Have you always wished you could live there, too? Then you might want to join, after adding a code to your website, if you have one.
