I thought it was time for another challenge - this time it's about writing fic inspired by icons. Luckily I've got quite a lot of icons that I made in the last two years, so I thought we could use these. Of course this is once more a multi-fandom/multi-pairing challenge, so I can't assign you specific icons - therefore I've taken 30 random icons, some fandom, some unspecific, from which you can choose.
You can use them in any way you like, not necessary in the fandom depicted (because I have a strong bias toward certain fandoms/pairings), so feel free to just take the words/mood of the icon for inspiration.
Sound like a plan? Then check out the main page for rules and guidelines. More than one fic is allowed per icon (might be interesting to see the variations) and sign up is via comment or email (so I get an idea on how many stories to expect).
There's no sign up deadline - if you want to write your story in 24 hours, that's fine (but please, spellcheck!), just make sure to post it to the community before Sunday, August 29, together with the icon you chose. I'll make all posts public and compile the master list the following Monday.
