Inspiration v.1 - "yet another songfic challenge"Over the years I've written both songfics (using lyrics and all) and fics simply inspired by specific pieces of music in all my fandoms. On a whim I decided to compile them all and to see whether other people might be inspired by them as well. So here's the challenge, plain and simple: Sign up for a song and then write a story inspired by it! Sign-up is open until Easter Monday, April 12 2004, and fics are due April 30, 2004. You claim a song by leaving a comment in my fic journal or . I will put your name down next to it, so that there'll hopefully be a lot of variety. It will be first come, first serve, so you might want to indicate a replacement song in case your favorite is already taken. When you're done you again comment or send me with a link to it and I'll compile a list and put it up here. You can use the lyrics or just get an atmosphere, a feel from listening to it, whatever you prefer. Any and all fandoms are welcome, slash, het, gen - anything goes. Sounds fun? Then go and pick an inspiration from the songlist! Update April 13, 2004: Sign-ups are now closed - 30 new songfics should be forthcoming, wow!
