I --
Stand on the side
Pretending it’s all right --
And inside you are
Falling out
I --
See through what you say
I know that it’s not all okay --
But you will stand
Beside it
Fall --
On my knees and pray
Pray that it will be okay --
And all the while
It worsens
Go --
To the place you hope
That it will be okay --
But still today
It isn’t
With --
Everything I do
It’s not enough to you --
You still leave me when
I know
Why --
Can’t everything be right
And then it would end --
The hurt that you
Always feel
No --
That won’t make it right
So listen to me --
Because I know that
I’m right
Still --
Waiting for the day
When you will come my way --
And I will show you what
Is real
